Academy Breakin’ Convention will be recruiting for our hip hop faculty in spring 2025, because we have a huge networks of artists to choose from and many not yet on our radar, we ant to decrease any nepotism in our recruitment processes which is a barrier to talent in the arts industry.  We will be doing a hiring process requiring CVs, interviews and tasks advertised via Sadler’s Wells’ vacancies page. Academy Breakin’ Convention will also provide Each one teach one continuous professional development events to support artists and educators to share best practice, and build confidence articulating thier skills in formal educational settings which have not traditionally had hip hop culture and practices at the core.

Equity and community is a focus at ABC and we want to support artists with space, time, mentorship, and resource, to decrease barriers young emerging creatives and the Hip Hop community working in London. We are open to collaborate with organisations and individuals focused on the empowerment, sustainability and development of youth services which utilise the arts in particular. This cold be, but not limited to: guest performances at ABC events workshops sharing knowledge with the next generation.
