Equity and community is a focus at ABC and we want to support artists with space, time, mentorship, and resource, to decrease barriers young emerging creatives and the Hip Hop community working in London. We are open to collaborate with organisations and individuals focused on the empowerment, sustainability and development of youth services which utilise the arts in particular. This cold be, but not limited to: guest performances at ABC events workshops sharing knowledge with the next generation.

SPECIALIST TEAM

Academy Breakin’ Convention’s hip hop specialist team will be announced in Summer. Because we have a huge networks of artists to choose from, we want to decrease any nepotism and bias in our recruitment processes which is a barrier for new talent in the arts industry.  Our hiring process requires CVs, interviews and teaching tasks to ensure you can meet the needs of our cohort. Academy Breakin’ Convention also provide Each one teach one continuous professional development events annually, to support artists and educators to share best practice, and build confidence articulating thier skills for formal educational which has not traditionally had hip hop culture and practices at the core.
